To say that the market is okay now, I really can’t say that the textile industry, which was slightly heated by the market orders at the beginning of the month, has slowly cooled down; but it is not good to say that the market is not good. The operating rate shown by some textile bosses is not It seems bad. The editor visited several textile bosses a few days ago, and they all said: "Now the looms in the factory are all on, and there is no plan to start work."

I don’t understand this. I asked in detail and found out that it was because...

The market order is gone, but there are still many orders placed by customers

Towards the end of the year, many textile bosses said that there were not as many orders as the beginning of the month. Indeed, the volume of market goods such as four-way stretch, polyester/nylon and cotton was still very good at the beginning of the month, but after mid-December, these market goods seemed to be silent.

"Now the market orders are nothing more. Our factory now organizes all orders placed by customers. They are all orders with relatively small quantities."

The difference between a market order and an order is very obvious. The market order is generally a variety that most textile companies will involve. Whether the textile market is good or not depends on the number of market orders, and the orders are of a certain special nature. Many varieties, customers specify what they want.

The textile boss in the above case said that recently received orders from customers are really many, including woolen four-way stretch, weft stretch and a composite silk fabric inlaid with diamond silk are selling well.

And these hot-selling fabrics are unexpectedly found not for down jackets and cotton jackets, but for autumn and winter pants...

The trousers are unexpectedly hot, the reason is not even clear to the cloth boss!

"These hot-selling fabrics are basically made of trousers. As for whether they can make clothes, it should be possible. Now the hot-selling fabrics for down jackets are basically only one type of nylon spun, and the rest of the hot-selling fabrics are trousers. Why are we selling? It's not very clear, anyway, we will weave if we have an order." The textile boss said with a smile.

Tops are on sale, ignore bottoms

The hot sale of trousers may be due to the fact that it was originally autumn and winter trousers, and the demand is still there. In addition, the hot sale of down jacket fabrics in the early stage has made the hot sale of autumn and winter trousers not prominent. Nowadays, the orders for down jackets and cotton clothes are decreasing, and this year's orders were originally higher than in previous years. Less, and then give the textile boss a "false appearance" that trousers are selling hot.

Pants material for clothes? It is not impossible!

Secondly, because the early-stage hot-selling varieties are relatively single, they have always been hot-selling stretch fabrics and nylon spinning. The above-mentioned textile boss also said that although it is trousers, it is not impossible to make clothes. Perhaps downstream garment factories use it to make clothes. For example, the composite silk fabric with diamond silk. This fabric has fine flashes due to the addition of diamond silk, so this type of fabric is also very good for making clothes.

The bottoms have a single style, and the garment factory stocks?

Finally, trousers are not like tops. There are all kinds of styles. The trousers styles are still relatively simple. It is difficult to say that trousers are out of date. So now garment factories have every reason to stock up some bottoms.

However, whether it is trousers or clothing fabrics, as long as customers place orders, they can maintain the normal operation of the factory, and the textile boss does not need to think too much.

According to the previous practice, orders would have been reduced towards the end of the year. This is already the norm in the textile market. This year it is very likely that everyone will have an early holiday, and the textile boss should have almost taken orders. Previously, a textile boss said, “This will happen in 2020, and I am very much looking forward to 2021.” Maybe the market in 2021 will really surprise everyone?
