    The production technology of melt blown nonwovens determines that it is a kind of excellent air filter material with fine fiber (1-3 μ m), many pores, fluffy structure and good crease resistance. In particular, the melt blown nonwovens with electret masterbatch can greatly improve the collection efficiency of submicron dust particles due to the electrostatic effect. Compared with traditional fiber filter materials, it has the characteristics of high efficiency, low resistance and large dust capacity, making it as the core material of medical masks and N95 masks.


    In order to improve the electret meltblown nonwovens electret effect and charge durability, our company developed a modified electret melt blown polypropylene nonwovens masterbatch PPJ12, which uses special electret additives. After the model PPJ12 is fed for producing meltblown nonwovens, and the low resistance air filtration efficiency of the melt blown nonwovens after corona discharge is significantly improved.

    PPJ12 can improve the flow performance of PP melt. The blend system of PPJ12 and PP belongs to non Newtonian fluid. The apparent viscosity decreases with the increase of shear stress, and decreases with the increase of PPJ12 content and melting temperature. PPJ12 plays a role of plasticizer and lubricant in the melt. So feeding PPJ12 as electret masterbatch can effectively improve the filtration performance of electret meltblown nonwovens.
